Ibadan, Nigeria – August 20, 2025 – Ibadan Digital Academy (IDA), a foremost digital training and capacity development institute, has officially signed a strategic partnership agreement with She Code Africa, a leading non-profit organization committed to empowering African women and girls through technology.
Under this partnership, both organizations will collaborate to deliver the She Code Africa Digital Literacy Program – Oyo State, a two-week training designed to provide women between the ages of 18 and 35 with essential digital skills for employability, entrepreneurship, and active participation in today’s technology-driven economy.
The program is scheduled to hold in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Friday, August 22, 2025, and from Monday to Friday, August 25–29, 2025. Training sessions will take place at the Atanda CBT Centre, Opposite Teachers House, Oluyole Estate, Ibadan, Oyo State.
This collaboration underscores the shared commitment of both institutions to closing the digital skillsgap among women and advancing inclusive participation in technology. By leveraging their combined expertise and resources, IDA and She Code Africa aim to create sustainable impact in equipping women with practical knowledge to thrive in the digital age.
The August 2025 program represents the beginning of a long-term collaboration between the two organizations, with opportunities for expansion to other regions in the near future.
